Indiana ESA program serving students with disabilities. Provides flexible education funding for students with IEPs to cover tuition, therapies, curriculum, and other special education services.
Must have active Individualized Education Program (IEP). Indiana resident. Available to students previously enrolled in public school or entering kindergarten.
Private school tuition, specialized therapies (occupational, speech, physical, behavioral), curriculum and instructional materials, tutoring, assistive technology, educational technology, and other approved special education services.
Indiana taxpayers can receive 50% tax credit for donations to Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) that provide scholarships to students from lower-income families.
Income-based: Family income at or below 300% of federal poverty level. Indiana resident. Priority to students in failing schools.
Private school tuition and fees.
The Indiana Choice Scholarship Program is the largest private school voucher program in the United States. Provides vouchers to Indiana families to attend participating private schools. Award amounts are income-based.
Income-based with multiple tiers. Must be Indiana resident. Students must either: (1) attend Indiana public school for at least one semester, (2) receive Choice Scholarship previously, (3) be entering kindergarten/first grade, (4) have sibling in program, or (5) other qualifying pathways.
Private school tuition and fees only. Voucher paid directly to school.
