About This Organization

MOScholars is Missouri's landmark K-12 scholarship program, established through state legislation to provide tax credits for contributions to approved nonprofit Educational Assistance Organizations (EAOs). The program offers Missouri's only 100% state tax credit, allowing taxpayers to redirect their state tax liability toward funding scholarships for students to attend private schools or support homeschool education. MOScholars is administered by the Missouri State Treasurer's office. The program works through a network of approved EAOs that distribute scholarships to eligible students. Partner organizations include ACSI Children's Tuition Fund for Christian schools, Agudath Israel of Missouri for Orthodox Jewish day schools, the Missouri District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod for LCMS schools, and the Bright Futures Fund for Catholic Diocese schools, among others. MOScholars represents a significant expansion of educational choice in Missouri, empowering families to select the educational setting that best meets their children's needs.

Mission

Behind the Herzog Tomorrow Foundation In 2021, the Missouri legislature created MOScholars, a scholarship program where contributions to approved Educational Assistance Organizations (EAOs) are exchanged for dollar-for-dollar tax credits.
